I started boot camp when I wasn’t losing the weight I gained from having my girls. I was rather nervous to get up and get moving to be at camp by 5:30 AM since I was completely out of shape, and I’m NOT a morning person at all. I must say, I miss it now when I don’t get to go. I love the camaraderie shared by the women who also get up at 0 dark 30 to get their exercise in, before the events of the day take over and get in the way. I love the variety in the daily workouts. I love the fact that the ladies hold each other accountable when necessary, and are so supportive always. The instructor is amazing, motivating, and supportive. With her support, I was able to complete a half marathon this year. I always thought it would be so cool to have the 13.1 or 26.2 on the back of the car, but until recently, I wasn’t motivated to do that kind of work. I now proudly sport a 13.1 on the back of my car!
